RE: Complete "Recompiled" - 3

ah ok thats interesting...
So it seems that the Launcher only works for the german version... but thats no problem... i have an idea on how to solve this one...
(at this moment i have the german and english version of toonstruck. as far as i know there exist more languages like french etc. does anybody know how many languages there are?)

So, back home from university ( i was writing from there the whole time) i took a closer look at the installed toonstruck files when using different languages of toonstruck.
I found the problem but need some time to fix it.
Give me a day or something... perhaps it will need a little bit more time because i have a big work for university to write... so stay tuned.

P.S
i would be happy if someone could try the installer with the german version and tell me if this works.

-> Ok I couldn't let it go right now so I fixed the problem... (I''m scared of myself because I never really used Batch programming so far, and now the .bat file is a monster ^^)....
So i will upload the V0.2 in the enxt few minutes.

-> the next step will be the Configuration Tools (already in construction ^^)
-> the console windows are necessary. one is for the Toon.bat and the rest is from the Dosbox.


got one question:
perhaps i wanted to make the launcher "extra" cool ^^ i mean i have something in my head connected to WPF.
The question is:
Windows Forms or WPF?

In my opinion, as this is suppoesd to be for newer OS, WPF would be ok.
so what do you think?

EDIT: ok i found the problem -.-.... the START command in the Batch file didn't recognize the path so it didn't work... but i solved it. Now, you open up the Toon.bat and you only have one window with toonstruck running ^^.

I will put this one in the next release ( if you don't want it immediately ^^).
So working on the Tools and proper GUI right now.

so for those of you who can't wait for it, heres a WIP of the Config GUI (its just Windows Forms so dont expect anything special ^^):

Gotta question:

What would you think will be better? I am a Programmer so i don't know how "easy" this conifgurator should be.
Do you think it is better to make tabs like "Audio, Video, Emulation....." or the original DOSBOX Sections like in the Image?

I asked my brother, cause he doesn't know so much about Dosbox to see if he understands the menu just by looking and he didn't. So i think, in my opinion, it would be better to rename the sections to more general terms because this is what I want to do, make the game easier to configure and not just copy the hard config thingys to a new GUI.
