If still needed, I can help out with: - Coding in C, C++, C# and Java (recent experience is C# only, but I reckon I can still do the others) - Ideas (I have loads!) - Testing - Anything else (I love to learn new things)
Just wondering whether this project is still alive though ...
How did you hear from the Forum?: Looking for Toonstruck2, according to a dedicated facebook page, the original toonstruck 2 game might be released after all
Why are you interested in this project?: I love point-and-click adventures and Toonstruck was one of my favourites. Also, I love games in general
What can you do for our project?: Code, come up with ideas, test, play, give feedback etc. Just don't ask me to draw anything in Photoshop
Optional: Occupation: University Student / Software Engineer Graduation: Bachelor of Science, working on my Master's thesis - Computer Science, major: Media- & Knowledge Engineering, Delft University of Technology Sex: Male
Wonderful . Nice to have you aboard. I hope i have some free time in the next few days to get together all the toonstruck content on my computer. I think we still need some more basic structure.
I'm sure somebody else will elaborate, but as far as I can tell this project got thrown under the bus a little after the announcement that the sequel may in fact be released if the re-release of ToonStruck is successful enough. We have a full storyline written which is flexible enough to add new ideas to. Several character concepts have been created including graphical representations and characteristic discussions. If only we could think this game into existence
to make that clear: yeah the project has been thrown back after the "official announcement" because if that would have happened, we would run into serious copyright problems... anyway, i wrote the story and i will try to get a storyboard completed. after this is done, i will need some programmers to join me in evaluating engines / writing a custom one. So i guess you will have to wait until i finished that task.
