SEOUL Air Force 1 Low , Aug. 8 (Xinhua) -- South Korean President Moon Jae-in on Tuesday named seven new top-ranking military commanders in the first major reshuffle of the military leadership since he took office in early May.


Air Force Gen. Jeong Kyeong-doo, the Air Force chief of staff Air Force 1 , was nominated to serve as the chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff (JCS).


It marked the first time in 23 years that an officer hailing from the Air Force was named as the top commander of the South Korean military. It was also the second time in history that an Air Force commander was named to lead the JCS.


The nomination was passed through the cabinet meeting earlier in the day. The JCS chief nominee is subject to a parliamentary confirmation hearing, but not required to be approved by the parliament.


The nomination reflected President Moon's resolve to reform the military leadership Cheap Nike Air Force 1 , which has been long dominated by the Army generals, analysts said.

BEIJING Nike Air Force 1 Flyknit , April 23 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Taipei Football Association president Lin Cheng-yi is under investigation and set to be sacked from the post, local media ETTV reported on Thursday.


Lin is involved with a game fixing in Chinese Taipei's home defeat to Brunei 0-1 in the Russia World Cup qualifier Nike Air Force 1 Mid , in which Lin had been paid 1.6 million US dollars from a gambling syndicate. In the return match, Chinese Taipei beat Brunei 2-0 and advanced to the last 40 of AFC zone qualifying by 2-1 on aggregate Nike Air Force 1 High , which is Chinese Taipei's best result in 12 years.


Should Lin Cheng-yi have been convicted, he will be jailed for 1-7 years and fined up to 1.2 million US dollars.


Lin Cheng-yi is a former soccer player who played as a defender for Kaohsiung County Taipower club and also represented Chinese Taipei team.




PARIS， June 3 (Xinhua) -- Top-ranked netman Novak Djokovic stormed into his 20th Grand Slam final after beating Dominic Thiem on Friday， when Serena Williams ousted another 22-year-old sensation Kiki Bertens in a women' s French Open semifinal.


Djokovic， seeking his first Roland Garros title to complete a career slam， crushed his Austrian opponent 6-2， 6-1， 6-4 in one hour and 48 minutes.


The 29-year-old Serb almost met no trouble from the outset， breaking the Thiem at the 22-year-old' s first serving game before breaking twice in the second set.


Thiem， however， roared back from the beginning of the third set to break Djokovic and take a 3-0 lead before the top seed reeled off five games in a row to deny the youngster' s effort.


Djokovic， who' s already won the year' s opening major at Melbourne， later better proved himself the kind of man with stern mind and steady performance， served out the match for his sixth straight slam final.


The Serb rated the semi his "best performance of the tournament" .

World No. 2 Andy Murray saw off defending champion Stan Wawrinka 6-4， 6-2， 4-6， 6-2 in the other semifinal， and the Scot became the first British man to reach the Roland Garros final since Bunny Austin in 1937.
