Ok, in the original Toonstruck 2, Drew should be te same real guy like in Toonstruck 1. ok we could extract every animation of toonstruck 1 but this would be very difficult and we wouldn't have any chance to do new animations.
So I think that we use a "Toon - Drew". In the Last Video of Toonstruck 1, Drew is pulled into the Toon world. He transforms into a Toon jsut before that and thats why i think a "Toon - Drew" would be logical to be in Toonstruck 2.

So i think we should use this image here as a reference:

he stays a toon all over the game

hmm... the face looks a litle bit weird and the proportions in toonstruck aren't mannipulated (like in monkey island) ...
But its a good startup picture

i think the first face was better because drew isn't so "hard" he is a friendly character and in your artowrk he looks too sad.

Furthermore his Head is a little bit wider.
