BUENOS AIRES Cheap Men's Nike Air Max Axis Trainers Black White , July 9 (Xinhua) -- Argentinean basketball player Luis Scola confirmed on Thursday he will be playing with the Toronto Raptors in the U.S. National Basketball Association (NBA) from this season.
"I'm going to the north. I hope that what happened to Dady (Brieva)'s cousin doesn't happen to me," wrote the player on his Twitter account in reference to a story that an Argentinean actor tells about a family member's experience with the cold and snow in Canada.
The 35-year-old, 2.06-meter-tall power forward comes to the Canadian team after two seasons with NBA franchise Indiana Pacers where in the last season he averaged 20.5 minutes on the court with 9.4 points and 6.5 rebounds.
Scola made his debut in the NBA in 2007 with Houston Rockets after winning various titles in Spain's ABC league with Tau Ceramica.
In the Rockets Scola was teammates with Chinese star Yao Ming who played for eight seasons with the U.S. team until his retirement in 2011. Yao was also chosen to compete in the All Star Game contest seven times.
Scola stayed with Houston until he transferred to Phoenix Suns in 2012 and the year after he joined Indiana. With Indiana, he lost the 2014 Eastern Conference final against Miami Heats.
Apart from his NBA career and awards in Spain, Scola won the gold medal with the Argentinean national team at the Olympic Games 2004 in Athens and the bronze in Beijing 2008.
The Argentina captain also was part of the silver medal-winning team at the Basketball World Cup in Indianapolis 2002 and in 2014 he became the third highest scoring player in the history of the World Cup with 573 points.

PUTRAJAYA, Malaysia, Jan. 29 (Xinhua) -- Director General of Malaysian Department of Civil Aviation Azharuddin Abdul Rahman said on Thursday that the Malaysian government officially declared MH370 an accident, and all 239 people on board the plane were presumed dead.
"It is therefore, with the heaviest heart and deepest sorrow that, on behalf of the government of Malaysia, we officially declare Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 an accident ... and that all 239 of the passengers and crew on board MH370 are presumed to have lost their lives," Azharuddin said in a statement.
After 327 days (as of Jan. 28, 2015) and based on all available data as well as circumstances mentioned earlier, survivability in the defined area where the plane was located was highly unlikely, the statement said.
Malaysian Airlines flight MH370, a Boeing 777 aircraft with 239 people aboard, disappeared on March 8 last year shortly after taking off from Kuala Lumpur en-route to Beijing.
Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak has announced the ill- fated plane had "ended in the southern Indian Ocean," following analysis of data released by British satellite telecommunications company Inmarsat.
The Internet is responsible for changing the landscape of various conventional processes. In some circumstances it has created something distinctive that could only exist because of the Internet, while in other instances it has revolutionised a standard process.
An example of something new would be Facebook, that has brought people together in a manner that was never possible to do before; an example of a revolutionised process would be in conducting Surveys and Questionnaires surveys.
There are very few people who would ever argue against the benefits of a survey when they are used to determine the level of employee or customer satisfaction, gauge public opinion or provide market research.
However, traditionally the reason that surveys were used sparingly was that the effort required to create the survey in the first place was cumbersome, and the effort and cost needed to disseminate the survey, collate the results and then analyse the results were rarely insignificant.
For many, the results, regardless of how helpful they were, were typically tinged with a ‘never again’ feeling having experienced the quantity of effort that was once required.
Then along came the Internet to revolutionise the process.
Preparation
Although a word-processor holds untold benefits over paper and pen for basic writing and correspondence, when it comes to something particular like writing and designing a survey it’s to some extent as practical as using a slippery eel.
It can be done, in the same manner as a hammer can be used with a screw, it is far from perfect. Word processors are good for correspondence, documentation and basic writing; spreadsheets are ideal for dealing with numbers and on-line survey web sites are ideal for creating surveys.
With a web based survey website surveys can be created, designed and easily modified using any browser by way of using fast and simple interfaces. All the difficult formatting is taken care of as, unlike a word processor, the questionnaire software is aware of all there is to know about questionnaires.
