BUCHAREST， Dec. 13 (Xinhua) -- Moldova's President-elect Igor Dodon said Tuesday that he hoped to swear in "as soon as possible."


"I hope that there it will be no delays here，" Dodon said， after the top court validated his election.


According to Dodon， the inauguration day was likely to be set by Moldova's Parliament speaker and Constitutional Court not later than Dec. 28.


According to Moldova's laws， Dodon is to take oath before the parliament and the Constitutional Court in 45 days after the polls at the latest.


The top court on Tuesday validated the result of the presidential runoff， rejecting the petition of Dodon's rival in the runoff to annul the results of the elections.


Socialist candidate Dodon won the presidential runoff on Nov. 13， scoring 52.18 percent of the ballot， while the right-wing candidate Maia S.
