Murthal is a small town in Sonepat district of Haryana in northern India and around 50 kilometers away from the national capital New Delhi. About 20 years ago Murthal was like just another village along the National Highway-1 and now it is one among the fastest growing towns in the region. People living in Murthal are called Murthalites. The word Murthal is considered to have originated from the compound word Mayur Sthal meaning a place where peacocks live in abundance. It is true that at some point ago the village boundary was marked by a dense forest. The forest Ryan Groy Bills Jersey , then, rapidly depleted into farming land and subsequently into an almost concrete area after the development of National-Highway.
After the partition of the India in 1947 a lot of people migrated from Pakistan to this area. These days there is a huge influx of people from Bihar who are given job opportunities in the agricultural industry. Farming still remains the main occupation of Murthalites. Recently, with growing population, shrinking cultivatable land, and grown education, the village youth is entering virtually in every field.
In 1970s Murthal was one among the few villages in Haryana to have separate Senior Secondary Schools for boys and girls. To show their generosity and inclination towards acquiring higher education, in late 1980s the village donated a huge part of its public land to build the then called CR State College of Engineering, Murthal. The college was at that time only second Engineering College in the state of Haryana.
Since that time the college has evolved into Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology and known by this name.Murthalites have developed an education society to look after the academic needs of not just Murthal, but all other villages in the region. There are many co educational schools in Murtal road. The schools here aim at providing quality education to the students and overall development of the students as a better citizen. The schools maintain high standards of education with the well qualified and experienced faculty. The schools give emphasis on English as it is becoming the official language of the country is used on an extensive scale. Almost all the schools in Murthal road are English medium and co educational.
The town is situated at a distance of about 50 kilometers from the national capital, Delhi. This gives Murthal an added advantage. The area is developing at a rapid pace with many more industries and factories being established in the town. Many more educational institutions and schools are being set up in the town. The colleges that are already established have sparked a general interest in education in the village and a number of small privately owned schools have emerged. It is also an interesting thing to note that already in 1981 few progressive individuals of the village who were not satisfied with the education quality in Govt. Schools, had started a private school which was privately funded. The town is going towards developing boardingresidential schools at Murthal road.

ISLAMABAD, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan on Thursday showed disappointment at the U.S. decision to name Hizbul Mujahideen as a Foreign Terrorist Organization and a Specially Designated Global Terrorist group.
The U.S. State Department said Wednesday the decision was aimed at exposing and isolating terrorist groups and individuals.
"We are disappointed in view of the fact that Kashmir is an internationally recognized dispute with UN Security Council Resolutions pending implementation," Pakistan Foreign Ministry spokesman Nafees Zakaria said.
"The designation of individuals or groups supporting the Kashmiri right to self-determination as terrorists is completely unjustified," Zakaria said at his weekly briefing.
