It's truly excellent to see this effort going towards a ts2

With the broken sword fan game completed and the 7th guest fan game due for release soon it's truly fantastic to see that some of my favourite games from the mid 90's are getting support.

Generally curious about what stage this project is in at the moment?

BTW - In your disclaimer... you may find it necessary later down the line to NOT call this game Toonstruck 2... I daresay someone out there still owns the rights (ergo the trademark) to the Toonstuck name and you might get some nasty e-mails eventually. I'd be greatly surprised if the name 'toonstruck' was in the public domain.

but the game "day of the tentacle 2" has no copyright problems, so I think that we can keep it going till we get an email where someone wants to stop us... but i think that because this is just a fan game and available for free it won't make any problems.

Stage of the project:
I just started this project so we are still in the very beginning. We are writing the story, getting some Designers and artwork together and advertise the project to get more people to help us.

You should read the section on the status of Virgin/Burst (the people who made the game). Its still a gray area but very few Abandonware games in this situation have been seriously claimed for in the past.
