The rockers will then head to Europe, starting on May 7 in Lisbon and culminating on June 12 at a 46,000-capacity park in Aarhus, Denmark.
The tour follows a busy 2015 that featured 53 shows around the world including a headlining appearance at the Coachella Festival in California, one of the world's pre-eminent music festivals.
The band capped the year on Tuesday with a show before more than 30,000 fans in Auckland, New Zealand.
ACDC, who also released an album last year following a six-year gap, returned without founding member Malcolm Young, who has retired due to dementia.
The band has also parted ways with drummer Phil Rudd, who was convicted in New Zealand of threatening to kill an employee.
Young's brother Angus remains the lead guitarist - known, even at age 60, for sporting his signature schoolboy outfit.
Lead singer Brian Johnson, 68, said in an interview in September that ACDC members were ""constantly surprised and amazed at how we keep the success going.""
""A good footballer, a good ice hockey player, they don't want to retire, but unfortunately sometimes there's a time when you have to call it quits,"" he told the Morning Sun newspaper in Michigan.

For the purpose of this article, I am going to be talking about the signs that use this phrase. I’m sure you have at one time noticed a local sign that states “We Buy Houses” in your town or neighborhood. This is because in a lot of cities and communities it is against city code to put them out on public property, hence the word “bandit”. They are mostly used to “blanket” an area for maximum exposure. You can find them on exits coming off the freeways, at major stop lights or intersections, or posted along a major city street or highway. They can also be seen at entrances to neighborhoods and at shopping centers and Wal-mart stores. Some will be staked in the ground, while others can be found nailed to telephone poles.
What you may not realize is that there are plenty of companies that will offer to buy your home-with the repairs that are needed!
Next, this enables you to find a new home. Let’s face it-selling your home is a great way to find another one and get into something that is a little bit easier to maintain. The last thing that you need is to sell your home and find that you don’t have any other options. You can use the opportunity to ask the realtor whom is helping you to sell your house to also find you a home that you can afford and that makes it easy for you to get into a new place as fast as possible. Even if you don’t have the full cost of the property, you still have a nice down payment that you can use to get into a place and that will significantly lower your mortgage payments.
It’s easy to find realtors that are willing to do this for you-but you have to know what to look for:
First of all, they need to be easy to contact. If you have a pain in the rear trying to find someone who seems so willing to sell your house, it could indicate a problem. This doesn’t mean that they have to list twenty thousand different ways to contact them, but one or two easy ways helps.
Next, if they aren’t nationally known but aren’t local either. Local realtors are just as good as the more popular branches, but if you’ve never heard of them before and they aren’t local-you might want to check into finding someone else who says “we buy houses.”
Take your time when choosing a realtor. While there are a great many people whom you can choose from, you have to understand that a bit of research is more than necessary. Get to know your realtor a little bit if possible.

MADRID, July 5 (Xinhua) -- Tourism can be a powerful tool to help sustainable development in Africa, according to a report published Wednesday by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
"To better harness the potential of the tourism sector, to contribute to inclusive growth, structural transformation and the achievement of the (UN) Sustainable Development Goals, Africa should adopt policies which strengthen inter-social linkages, boost international tourism and promote peace," the report said.
It explains that between 2011 and 2014, tourism contributed 166 billion U.S. dollars to gross domestic product (GDP), making up 8.5 percent of the continent's GDP, while at the same time creating 21 million jobs: 7.1 percent of all jobs in Africa.
