Could you upload them, so we all can see what we've already got ?

What format are the backgrounds in? Are we still going to keep them animated? Theres a lot of stuff on http://www.lauraj.net/portfolio/GameArt/Toonstruck too. If you upload the backgrounds, could you also upload the sound files from the original game and the unreleased ones? It would be good to see what we're working with.

Ah ok... I think the quality may be too low. If we extract them our selves will the quality be higher?

I have the CDs. I'll extract everything today (well, what I can)

There's also one of my extra-difficult ways to get a high-quality background image:

1. Make a screenshot


2. Move the characters to another position and make a second screenshot


3. Edit it with Photoshop (or something similar) to remove the characters



But the result sucks, as you have to add animation manually later

I thought of doing that too. But yeah... The animations.... We would need ALOT of screen shots, plus it would be better if we can make this game in a higher resolution than the original Toonstruck. I can't really think of any immediate solution to this. You would need to take one after you crush the footman too, he would still be under that anvil in the second game

I've just come across another (allbeit minor) problem, the bottomless bag. It gets in the way of everything

if you want the animations -> film them and insert them frame by frame

if you don't want the footman -> play until he's got anvil'd and make the screens then
