I installed openshot via the ppa on Ubuntu 10.0.4 today (kxstudio, actually.....if that rings a bell). I'm having the same issue with audio that I had in kdenlive: really choppy audio. Interestingly enough, if I hide the video (by clicking on the little camera icon) the audio plays fine so I'm wondering if it's been a video config issue this whole time (with both openshot and kdenlive)?? This happens on both the avi file as well as the ogv that I'm trying to edit.
Any help will be apprecited.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
