hi there,

my name is Michael and i'm also from germany.
to cut a long story short:

Age: 29
Sex: male

Occupation:
web developer (freelancer) / i recently quit teaching (art, IT, technical drawing, cad, handicrafts)

Interests / Talents:
Adobe Flash Platform, ActionScript 3 and AIR;
i'm currently working with Flashdevelop and the Adobe Master Suite CS5 (Flash IDE, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Fireworks, After Effects …)
(X)HTML, CSS, some JavaScript/PHP, XML ...
Furthermore, additional experiences in Cubase, 3D Studio MAX, AutoCAD, Solid Edge and stuff. depending on the programm it's been a while (or whiiiiles).

How did you hear from the Forum?:
the web moves in mysterious ways ...
some guy in another forum asked for the game - i became interested again ... google ... youtube ...
somehow i ended up here

Why are you interested in this project?:
on one hand i always loved point n click games and pixelart.
one the other i want to check my current skills and learn.
... and of course! fame!

What can you do for our project?:
i'm interested in developing the engine.
but also other things might come in handy - maybe some videoFX

i'll stop right here - otherwise i couldn't say exactly why i hate facebook that much.
guess we'll get knowing each other over the time, anyway.

so, what are we doing to do tonight?

thanks for your post welcome in the team. Just one more question: what do you think about concept arts etc? would you be able to do some artwork ?

i guess i could fill in for somebody, sometimes.
but animation isn't one of my biggest strengths. and it's a very time expensive procedure ...
i'd have to check some of the original artwork again at first, just to get sure the toons and my personal style will fit together, somehow. it's been some time, since i did some reasonable sketches.

to be quite honest, i think there are better artists out there. but sure, i could give it a shot.

you wont need to do animations. it would be enough to get some background artworks. just sketch something you get up in your mind. a character, a background , whatever ^^

information-homepage? would be nice to have one right now. i'm surfing through the forum here n there, right now, but it's kind of hard to get an overview ...

backgrounds shouldn't be a big deal.

i'll be off till monday - maybe we could get together by phone then.
i guess it'll make briefing me, much easier. i'll hit you with a pm if you don't mind.

just to organize this a little bit. i dont think that we should relive the homepage yet. i mean we have bettter things to do. at first we should get some artwork together. i mean we need some artists. We dont have any exact ideas of which backgrounds we need so lets just say we need some port foilio of you to see if you fit in the style of toonstruck
