Hello,

I am totally new to this whole programming thing and I was just wandering what I should do to this file on my SD card so that it works with my Raspberry Pi. The file is called '2012-12-16-wheezy-raspbian' and all I have done is downloaded it from the Raspberry Pi Download page and then extracted the files onto my SD card. What do I do now to get it to work with my Pi?

I have all the components set up for the Pi (ie. keyboard, cables) but I just want to know what I should do to the file (ie what to program onto it and how to program onto it).
