Take lessons to improve your ski skills and "graduate" from the Front Side where the beginners like to ski to the Blue Sky Basin where most average skiers find an enjoyable run. Perhaps you'll hone your skills enough to make it all the way to the expert-level slopes that can be found in the Back Bowls.

You'll fly into the Eagle County airport, which is in Gypsum, about 40 minutes away from Vail and when you get to Vail, you'll drop off your stuff and head to the slopes.
