Sound / Voices / Music » MIDI on Roland E09 ?

hello,

I want to use the my Roland E09 keyboard has keyboard control for sound editing with "Sonar" software.
I'm using Tascam 2X2 audio interface, and I want to know please if I nedd to set something in my Roland E09 keyboard or just plugged my keyboard with MIDI cable and it should work? (MIDI output from keyboard to MIDI input om audio interface).

Please help.
