hello,

I run a small event and bought a PA / music package and need some help.

I have two American Audio CPX speakers connected to a Mackie MIX5 mixer.

Plugging the mic into the mixer and using it is fine, but running audio out an iPad's aux port into the mixer and its quiet.

Even turning everything up doesn't make much of a difference.

The company I bought the kit off says I'll need an amplifier of some sorts to boost the iPad output but haven't suggested anything.

I've seen a few headphone amplifiers but not sure if they would do the job.


Please help.
