I am amazed that there are people out there who rather make reasons why they don't want to learn a trick than taking the time learn it. I bet his friend who critiqued him noticed he was really sucking at the venue and this is why he commented on his mixing style. (Some people have the nerve of making lame excuses of not accepting a good critique, because they think they deserve somekind of acknowledgement because they have been trying to do this for many hours plus spend a lot of money on equipment. But the truth of the matter is no matter how much time or money you spend, this doesn't mean you can't be critiqued. If you suck, you suck, and that's it. It's up to you to do something about it, or else spend your life making excuses.)
I totally disagree that no matter the venue, it will always make the event more enjoyable on the dance floor if you at least beatmix a few tracks of the same "dance" genre.
Please help. Thanks!
