It was a mashup of the last 6 phrases of track 1 and the first 6 of track 2 or somethin like that, goin crazy with the faders and the high's mid's n low's..

Afterwards I realized what I enjoy most in mixing is right after a transition when the incoming songs is playing alone and riding the speakers at its climax.
... relieve the cliché from it.. but it felt cool.. every time..
This is where phrase mixing and knowing your tracks pay off.


So I was thinking if we got to know what we enjoy most, or one of the things, in mixing music we’d appreciate what’s happening on the decks thru the speakers..

Therefore enhancing, or better yet, optimizing the way we mix..
