I have quite a few of these on loan to me, cheap but they do a job. a couple need diaphragm replacement. the problem is cost and fiddly-ness! blue aran is the onlace I have found so far that stocks them - £30 for the diaphragm but it's a fiddle to fit since you have to wrap the tales through the driver housing and solder the ends to a terminal point that has spade ends. It's all a bit flimsy and rather than risk applying a soldering iron to a coil, I was thinking about adding a choclate block connector with diaphragm tails in and fly leads with spade terminals out. All a bit of a faff really - and will it stay secure? thoughts?
Please help. Thanks!
