great!! im very excited and happy i found out that some people like you are trying to make this fan game just like mindfactory team made a fangame about broken sword 2.5. but toonstruck is my favorite and i loved it very much and finished toonstruck many times.i wil always continue to play it along other point and click adventures.its kinda sad that they didnt made toonstruck 2 sequel. drew blanc becoming a toon himself then returning to the cartoon world again, helping his friend flux once more to fight naferious.and spike the clown was so hilarious!! ahaha i coudnt get anough of him and i hope he apears in the fangame again .there are a couple of questions id like to ask
1:since when did you startet with the project? 2:when do you think it wil be finished? 3:will there be english voice actors in the game? 4:do ou guys have enough members to complete the game? 5:wil the story in the game be just as long like in toonstruck 1? 6:when can we get to see the progress of the project like screenshots etc?
since when did you started with the project? The project started on June, 21st 2009.
when do you think it will be finished? I think it would be in five years, yes this is a long time, but I don't think 20 people could create a game which takes one year for a developer.
will there be english voice actors in the game? Yes and we decided to make the game first in english to get more popular and find professional voice actors to voice the german part.
do you guys have enough members to complete the game? That's a good question. I just ask myself and I think no! But you can help us to get more popular. Inform interested people. Help us with your ideas!
will the story in the game be just as long like in toonstruck 1? I think we would try to create a game, which is as long as toonstruck 1.
when can we get to see the progress of the project like screenshots etc? Screenshots could be seen, when we've enough material and this time comes true if we have a) programmers who make an engine for the game and b) we've get enough member to get to this point And if you look here you could see that we've got a nice character designer
5 years nooooo lol i see, those other people from the broken sword game took them 6 years to complete it but that game was too short anyway.... if the earth wil try and make it past 2012 december lol i heard all kinds of stories life ends in december 2012.
how i found the project was, 2 days ago i was just lurking around like always on youtube and typed toonstruck to find a certain scene from the game that i wanted to see.then i noticed something in the list about trailer toonstruck 2 so i clicked it and saw the link wich brought me here to the site.
im syrian ortodox born in turkey but i live 19 years in holland now.
i would love to help very much but i dont think i can in any subject...
Didn't know where I would post my first post, figured I'd do it here since I got a question also.
I should start sayin' that Toonstruck was one of my favorite games when i was 10-11 years old. Remember i bought it from a swedish shop, still exists & now also webbased (ginza.se) for 49 swedish kronor (approximately 7 USD). I never completed the game though at that time, never got passed the wolf I think. I now realise why, i wasn't a smart kid But the game had the mark 13+, so no shame on me right?!
Years passed by... I forgot all about the game, even lost the game at some point i believe when I moved to a new house.
Well, enough rubbish.. A couple weeks ago, I visited my sister who lives in a nearby town. We were watching a movie, and at the commercial brake this kind of moviecommercial comes up, think it was some movie with Michael Jordan and a bunch of toons.. My sister says "Welcome to toonstruck" (with a creepy voice). Maaaan, then it hit me.. "Wasn't that the game we used to play when we were kids, you know with the farm and that scarecrow and all I said".. She had remembered it all along, I freaked out! So glad it came up to my mind again, after all those years.
As i had lost the discs i had no choice but to download the game. Anyway, finished the game yesterday, what a freakin' good game it is! The atmosphere and all the characters voice's are amazing. It still is one of my favorite games of all times, this is why I found this place, started googling for Toonstruck 2 and got really depressed when I read all about cancellation of the sequel. The game has been the only thing on my mind for the last days, thinking of how "the full game" could have been.
Seen some of your progress and I'm really glad there are other people out there who really wants to keep Toonstruck rollin'.
Here comes a little question: I've read that the sequel were practically done and all that, but what did they do with all that material? (toonstruck 2) They couldn't just have thrown it away in the recycle bin could they? Don't you think there is a possibility that one of the guys who were developing Toonstruck still has the material lying around somewhere?
There is some material lying in various web sources (check out this thread), but the fate of all the rest is not known. It's possible that the developers still store the finished Toonstruck 2 in some dusty archive. There's a guy known as Hanuka who said that he had some unpublished materials, but we've lost contact with him.

I have to correct something: as for the question: when can we play the game? i always said and will always be of the opinion that we will go for a "when its done" thing here. If we have a deadline and have to disappoint the fans it would be bad. so to make that clear: its done when its done and when its good enough to be a sequel of toonstruck
I found this site searching something about Toonstruck 1. Never thought someone is working on a sequel To get the material, maybe you could try to get in contact with Laura Janczewska, Hanuka mentioned her on his post.
So i am glad you are doing this and wish you good luck! If you need help, maybe I can help with some programming work in the future.

Hi Frank,
At first: We always need new members!
I think someone already wrote her a mail. And he got an answer from her, I think so.
