ÿþOur friendship aside, I think what TheShoeSurgeon nike air max 90 did with the  Misplaced Checks  is one of the most important stories of 2015 in sneakers. John took his love for the Air Force 1 and his vision (previously rejected by Nike) and pulled it into reality to create one of the most coveted sneakers of the year. He put his own money behind the project and proved to thousands of his peers what you can achieve through creativity and having confidence in your ideas even when others  don t get it.

Today, we explore the lack of urgency in celebrating one of the most popular Nike silhouettes to this day, the Nike Air Max 90.Nike began as Blue Ribbon Sports way back in 1964 thanks to nike air force founders Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight. It wasn t until 1971 that it became known as Nike. But it wasn t until 1987 that Nike really exploded. In 1987 Nike shoe designer Tinker Hatfield (now Nike s Vice President for Design and Special Projects) broke ground in the sneaker industry with the creation of the Nike Air Max line. The Air Max 1 is arguably the most popular Nike Air Max silhouette of all, but many people can basket nike femme argue that the Air Max 90 gives it a run for its money.

This year the Tinker Hatfield-designed silhouette celebrated its 25th anniversary. Can you believe that it has been 25 years since its debut?When I realized last year that the Air Max 90 would be celebrating this special milestone I was excited to see what kind of releases Nike would be giving us. So as the year got underway there was rumors/leaks of certain celebratory colorways releasing like a new  Cork colorway and of course the original Infrared version.

Or what about when did they did it again last year with the release of the  Bleached Denim colorway? Those two collaborations are two of the greatest Air Max 90s ever created and the crazy thing is that they weren t created to commemorate or celebrate any special milestone or anniversary. Atmos and Nike collaborated just for the hell of it and created nike femme instant classics. So why couldn t something similar be done this year for the 25th anniversary?

All these features that have now stepped into the spotlight, began getting a lot more attention. Granted, the shoes cost a bit more than the Roshe Run, but many of us felt that that was only a small price to pay for a shoe that will be a lot more comfortable, durable and  refreshing . Everyone has a pair of Roshes, and now people felt it was time to look for the next hot sneaker. The Roshe is no longer what it used to be.
