The Blazers obtained Robinson in a trade with Houston for the rights to Kostas Papnikolaou and Marko Todorovic, as well as two future second-round picks. Robinson was the fifth overall pick in last years draft by the Sacramento Kings but he was dealt to Houston in a February trade. He played in 70 total games last season, averaging 4.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 15.1 minutes. "He is an elite athlete and brings a unique set of physical tools to our roster. He has the potential to be one of the best young power forwards in the league and his development will be a priority for us," Olshey said. Robinson is expected to join the Blazers Summer League team, which opens play on Saturday in Las Vegas. Wright, a nine-year NBA veteran, averaged 9.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists off the bench for the Philadelphia 76ers last season. He reportedly signed a two-year contract worth $6 million. The deal could not be completed until Wednesday under NBA rules. The Blazers on Wednesday also announced the signing of guard Allen Crabbe, the 31st pick out of California acquired by Portland in a draft night trade. Crabbe averaged 15.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in three seasons with the Golden Bears. Portland has scheduled a news conference for Thursday afternoon at the teams practice facility. With the exception of Lopez, who will likely start, the moves were generally lauded as adding depth to Portlands bench.
